My name is Samuel john. I am from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. One of my main interests is designing and building stuff like anything from painting to robots.
From my 4th grade my interest bloomed in designing. I won the first prize in SOME 2004 ( Save Our Mother Earth ) where I built a project to create awareness about noise pollution through building blocks , thermocol,and cardboard.
My interests never stopped and the love of robotics started when I started watching Iron man and Sci Fi movies.During my Undergraduate year at SRM University Kattankulathur, I built a simple line follower robot using arduino. Form then onward, arduino was the love of my life. During my second year I learnt Microprocessors like 8085, 8086, logic gates and introduction to micro controllers. I also learnt the basics of how a microprocessor works and how it is created. Then during the beginning of my third year I had designed my very own arduino known as ALLDUINO ( which is an advanced version of arduino and had inbuilt sensors attached to the arduino chip). The Allduino was a big success when it was used to create robots very easily and other modules like LPG gas detection, alcohol detection robot, breath analyser, obstacle avoiding robot and many more. Team ALLDUINO along with FLORANIX won the First prize in the world arduino day 2015 at SRM University with a cash Prize of Rs 2000.
Moreover The Allduino board was very cost effective and was a success among college students. I had organised my first workshop at my own college where me along with my team (ALLDUINO) and my Uncle's team (FLORANIX) were the designers, suppliers and all in all for the workshop. I really Thank JESUS who helped me to grow and to flourish in the arduino and the robotics field. Our company along with FLORANIX were leading in the arduino business in my city which was a very proud moment for me and my team (ALLDUINO) and my uncle's team (FLORANIX). We did many workshops at colleges to promote Allduino ( WCC colege for women, chennai. Voohres college vellore.)
My individual projects include ECG health shield with body temperature sensing, Timmy the helper ( image processing robot), Self balancing robot, Cleaner robot, 2D Plotter and the GOLIATH ( Home security System robot). Some of my designs include ( W.R.I.S.T) which is a Wearable Rescue Integrated Safety Tool. Draftie Stick and the upcoming Exo arm design for upper arm. The final year project was "Optimization of the ECMO (Extra corporeal membrane oxygenation) system using LAb View. During my final year along with help of my professor Sharanya Ma'am, I published my first paper on Comfort Sensor Using Fuzzy Logic and Arduino at the KCG Conference of 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Computing and applications.

My paper was also accepted at the WASET (World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology), Spain Barcelona.Currently I am studying by the grace of Jesus, at Wayne State University Detroit, Michigan. I am currently the president of the WSU SPIE Student Chapter. I am also doing my research in Drowsy driving System and in the design of Scanning system. I also have extensive knowledge in programming languages like Arduino, C and Mat lab. I also know the fundementals of LABVIEW, MULTISIM, EEGLAB and PSPICE.
